Zone7 Versa Hooded Jacket

Used the zone 7 versa jacket and pants on a second season rifle elk hunt. 4 days of wheeler rides that were 12 or more miles. One particular ride was about 8 miles one way, upper 20’s and snowing. The set proved to be windproof and repelled water better than I could have asked for. Kept me dry and warm for all 4 days of the hunt. Even used the set to still hunt in these conditions with 6 inches of snow on the ground with more snow falling. I stayed very warm and dry with a base layer and a mid layer for upper and lower body. I am thankful I went with the zone 7 versa set because it kept me so warm I believe anything heavier would have had me sweaty in these conditions.

The jacket is really nice. I love it. I have never had as warm of hunting clothes. It's hard to find a fleece type jacket that is this warm. I also have the vest and love it as well. Super soft, super quiet, super warm. I highly recommend it. I was skeptical about the cost to quality, and I believe it was worth every penny.i also bought my fiancé one as well and she loves it and says it really warm. I got the XL tall. I am 6'1" 190lbs. Fits good with layers on.

I purchased one of these last year and it replaced my favorite Cabela’s guide gear jacket. Now I’m in my season with it and it’s still my go to jacket for the majority of my hunting season. I can get away with this jacket and a t shirt on warmer days, or layer up a little and get down right frosty. I took this with me this year on a warm afternoon (50-60°f) and wore it over a t shirt. I took this fine bear that evening! Last year I wore it while I hunted late season with my longbow and took a deer in 30-40° weather. It’s kept me warm on much colder days as well up north visiting family over the holidays. It’s versatile, and I’m not afraid to wear it in town, or in the timber.
