Our most versatile jacket is ideal for peak of the rut hunts and layering underneath in later season. This jacket is simply our “go-to” jacket for the majority of our peak rut and mid-season hunting. The average temp in the peak of the rut in the Midwest is approximately 36.5 degrees F (basically: 29 F in the morning and 44 F at mid-day) and it only made 100% sense to design a series to fit this specific temperature range. We feel we completely "nailed" addressing this range of temps ! This is a very technical and "hunter-fitted" type jacket but the "frills" were left behind as we feel that more often than not - "less is more". This design is extremely well fitting and the articulation is ideal for hinder-free climbing, shooting and general function. The fit is slightly "conservative" however so if you wish to layer or prefer a slightly loose fit, we recommend going up a size. Berber-Wool in the main exterior areas with Berber-Fleece "paneling" on the inside sleeves and inside hood. Adjustable elastic drawstring in lower hem, side access pocket on left chest, 3 piece camo Wool-Fleece lined hood with drawstring adjustment, lined lower YKK zip closed hand pockets, our highly breathable - highly protective WindSeal-TC3 internal barrier throughout, and our anti-microbial 3X-Tricot lining is also throughout the entire garment and is "fleece out" in the body and is "reversed" inside the sleeves to reduce friction.
